We have decommission Exchange 2013 on our server 2012R2. Now, I've few errors related to IIS which we do not need any more. If i try to remove IIS it also want to remove remote access and remote server administration what I need. How I can remove IIS without removing what I still need?

If it is not possible to remove IIS is it possible to default it so I remove any setting linked to Exchange? Thanks

    Hi @Mario ,

I followed the basic steps below to uninstall IIS and there was no prompt to remove Remote Access and Remote Server Administration.

    1. Open 'Server Manager' and click 'IIS'.
    2. Click 'Manage' in the upper right corner -> remove roles and functions.
    3. Click 'Next' to cancel the '√' in front of IIS and select 'Remove Features'

    4. Continue to 'Next' and click 'Delete'
    5. When the deletion is complete, click 'Close'. Restart the server to take effect.

If invalid, could you provide a picture of the problem as a basis for judgment?

    Hi Yurong,

I'm not sure what you are trying to say, but this is just repeating what I said.

To remove IIS I need to remove features remote access and remote server administration. But I do not want to do that, as I need those features. My question is how to remove IIS without removing these features, and if that is even possible?

Uncheck the box remove management tools (if applicable).

The dialog box itself lists all those features which you do not want to remove.

    I hope this helps.
