Escalate an MTR system booking into a Teams meeting

Some users create meetings in Outlook and invite MTR systems without making their meeting a "Teams" meeting

So when the user goes into the Meeting Room, the MTR does not start a Teams meeting (No "Join" button). The MTR instead just shows that a meeting is booked for this time by the meeting organiser ( as the meeting organiser did not make their meeting a TEAMS meeting)

How do we handle this? Are we able to escalate this meeting into a Teams meeting (without having to cancel and reinvite all) or make all meetings that invite the MTR a Teams meetings by default?

    Hi @Paul Kazzi

The meeting organizer should be able to update the meeting to a Teams meeting on his calendar.
While I would still recommend cancelling this meeting and recreating a Teams meeting to avoid issues.
