Yup, TaskbarSi inoperative. What an awful performance, it really should be a simple option in the basic Taskbar settings without the need for open registry surgery.

As of February '23 KB5022913 we now need Microsoft to fix it or make a new workaround.

    Hi,

You can adjust the taskbar height through the registry. Here's a guide:

    Open Start on Windows 11.

Search for regedit and click the top result to open the Registry Editor.

    Browse the following path:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
Right-click the Advanced key, select New and click on DWORD (32-bit) Value.

    Registry Advanced key

Name the key TaskbarSi and press Enter.

Double-click the newly created DWORD and change its value from 0 to 2 to change the Taskbar icons size to large. The value 0 is for the small size and 1 is for the default icon size.

    Windows 11 taskbar change size

    Click the OK button.

    Restart the computer.

Once you complete the steps, the Taskbar will reflect the size you specified on Windows 11.

I hope this answers your question.

    Thanks.x

Follow as described by the answer above to change the Taskbar size on Windows 11, modify the “TaskbarSi” DWORD in the “Advanced” Registry key as per requirement:

Set the value to 2 to change the size to large.
Set the value to 0 to change the size to small.
Set the value to 1 to change the size to default.
