Why does VMWare Player not see Windows 11 iso as bootable?

I have downloaded the Windows 11 multi-edition ISO, which I need to run in a VM; apparently only VMware provides access to the TPM-2 module, so I have to use that. However, it reports that there is no OS in the iso-file. Is there any work-around for this?

Make sure you download Windows 11 ISO file from Microsoft's official website:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

You need to select ISO file at Virtual Machine settings > CD/DVD (SATA) > Use ISO image.

    Hope this helps!
