Hi,

Question1:
There are many settings in within Configuration Profiles and I and wondering if anyone out there has like a template for their customers. Say you have like 30+ customers and would like to have the same template implemented, anyone have a overview over things that should be recommended to activate for example

  • Disable 'Configure Offer Remote Assistance'
  • Set 'Minimum PIN length for startup' to '6 or more characters'
  • Prohibit use of Internet Connection Sharing on your DNS domain network
  • Block persistence through WMI event subscription
    ++++

I know most of the settings depends on the customer, but to have like a template would easy the implementation.

Question2:
Now that we have a template customer, how can we export the profiles from the template and import it at another tenant ?

Thanks for reply.

    @Andreas , Based on my research, I didn't find there's any template for device configuration profile provided on our official article. I think your thought is right this can be because the requirement for different customer is different.

    As you have a template customer environment at hand, maybe you can try the Intune PowerShell script in Github to export and import the settings. Here is an link for the reference:

    Note: non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

    Hope it can help.
