Autopilot on new device hangs at preparing for mobile device management screen on windows 11

I have fetched Hardware ID from the laptop and uploaded on Intune in order to join device with Azure AD. Autopilot profile is assigned successfully.

Then, I pushed the laptop into OOBE mode using command "%windir%\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe" . Device went into OOBE mode successfully and restarted.

After restart it asked for my organization credentials and then it got stuck at "Preparing for mobile device management". This is happening on Windows 11 only.

Windows 10 devices enrolled without any issue.

Please help.

@DarshitKothari-8148 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, is there any error code appearing? If yes, please shows us the error code.

If not, please try Michael Niehaus's script to see the information about what went on during our Autopilot provisioning process. check the event in the process to see if there's any finding.

    Hi there,

Try clearing the TPM and see if that helps. This might also be affected by something on that network, maybe a firewall that is preventing the process from moving.

The below thread discusses the same issue and you can try out some troubleshooting steps from this and see if that helps you to sort the Issue.

@Lu Dai-MSFT @Limitless Technology I checked TPM and its fine. I cleared it and tried again but no luck. I went through the articles but they are not helpful for me as the case seems different.

When I enroll Windows 11 device using Autopilot OOBE mode then only it gets stuck otherwise if I directly enroll device using Work or School Account option available in Settings then it goes through and no error comes in.

I am actually clueless what causing the error.

I don't want to enroll device directly using Work or School Account option because it will make the enrolled user Admin on the device which I don't want and to restrict user being Admin, I will need to go through Autopilot mode.

Is it possible if I directly enroll device using Work or School Account option and after completion if I assign Autopilot profile to that device and sync the device via Intune then the user account will change from Admin to Standard?
