Booting from USB on a Lenovo ThinkPad

I have a ThinkPad Gen2 T15p (its either a p or D, its super tiny).
My goal is to boot from a USB drive for an offline image. The BIOS does not an option for Legacy boot,
only Secure Boot off. The USB appears in the boot options menu but does nothing.
I have formatted it as NTFS. I tried Fat32 and it fails to complete because of the limits of Fat32 and exfat.
I created the image in MDT and then offline Media, moving the content to the USB as always.

Does anyone know either how to format the drive properly or set up the BIOS for the ThinkPad Gen2? I also tried
using 7-zip to add to archive the WIM file (4.9G), move the pieces over and then Extract those files. However, even on a
32GB drive it runs out of room.
Thanks in advance

Seeing how the Lenovo can only be set to UEFI and the Lenovo tech didn't have much to suggest...
I treated this laptop as I would a Hyper-V VM. I inserted the USB and went into the Deploy folder and launched the litetouch.vbs script and it rebooted to the usb and followed the task sequence all the way through.
That is how I will deal with offline Thinkpads from now on.
