When working with PaaS offerings, Azure sets default limit, for instance

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/logic-apps/logic-apps-limits-and-config?tabs=azure-portal

As a customer, we could update default limits by updating configuration files like host.json. What is the impact of increasing those limits? I'd imagine there is validate reason for imposing those limits and you would only want to increase them in exceptional cases. Then what is the criteria to evaluate if a limit adjustment should or shouldn't be done.

    Hi,
Limits are set to protect misuse of the Azure Cloud.
You can always ask to lift them up by Azure Support [if they're core related, for example].
Azure Support makes sure that you're a legitimate customer and then lifts the restrictions.
This is also being done automatically by the portal if you ask via the portal blade.
