Sign PDF in vb net, with A1 certificate

Hi, good afternoon everyone.
I have a digital collection system developed in vb net. Now, according to the legislation, we have to digitally sign each document when it is issued, with an A1 certificate. Has anyone done this in vb net? If you can share the code, thanks in advance.
Stored files are in PDF format. So the logic would be, OpenFile->Sign->CloseFile->SendDestination
If anyone can help, thanks again

Since PDF is a third-party product, some third-party libraries are required to sign it.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/378247/digitally-sign-pdf-filesAnd A1 nomenclature is about a Brazilian standard (e-CPF/e-CNPJ/something like that), we don't have the resources to test it.
It is recommended that you post the problem with PDF, digital-signature and certificate tag on other forum. -

I had already read that article you suggested, it is written in C#. I'm not very familiar with this language, although I can try to adapt it to Vb.
