Could you try to reinstall Authentication App, then restore it from the backup.
Microsoft Authenticator Approval Requests Not Showing

I recently had to send my Android phone in for service. Prior to wiping it out I went through the process of backing Authenticator up. Once I received my phone back I did a restore putting Authenticator back on my phone. The code generation is working as expected. However, whenever I encounter a situation where it says to approve the request on my phone there is never a request. Therefore, I'm currently using the text me option, but I would like to get the Approval popups working again. I went through and uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no change.
Environment:
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 running Android version 12
Authenticator Version 6.2207.4624
Microsoft Security | Microsoft Authenticator

please check login to you account and once the login notify you about the notification, open you Microsoft authentication and click check notificationif this work this will mean that you will need to add the below permission for Authentication on your Android device
**Receive data from the internet:** This permission is required for sending notifications. **Run at startup:** If you restart your phone, this permission ensures that you continue you receive notifications to verify your identity.

2022-08-02T06:28:25.863+00:00 Thank you for your help. Unfortunately it didn't work. I attempted to login to my Microsoft 365 account and I got the popup on the website telling to approve the request in my Authenticator app. However, when I went to the app, and checked the screen you're showing mine doesn't have the "Check for notifications" option. In addition I have an "+Add account" option on my screen above the "Rearrange accounts" option that I don't see on yours. Everything else looks the same, although the drop down menu with these choices is on the right side of my screen rather than the left like yours.

2022-08-02T07:58:21.47+00:00 Not sure why that fixed it as I went through the steps to uninstall and re-install once already. Regardless, this time it worked and everything is back to normal. Thanks again for your help and getting me to re-install again. After 41+ years in IT, I should have known better than only trying the install once. I've had to go through steps like this with many clients over the years. Guess, I'm getting rusty now that I've been retired for almost 4 years. Thanks again! Have a good evening/morning and be safe!
