User mailbox creation by default with muilt exchanges

Question

When. you have a single exchanges up (lets say EX1 and EX2), on their own, and you create a user in the same AD their connected to, the user mailbox is created on EX1 by default..

Yet, when both exchanges are connected simultaneously, and you create, the user by default is created on EX2..

Is this by design ?

Hi @dss ds ,
I tested in the environment and the result was that a new user was created on A, and the user appeared on B because the database was mounted on B. You can look at your environment, users are always created in the database, so where the database is, the user will be created on which side.
