A seemingly simple thing, but unfortunately the relevant box is greyed out. Do I really need to re-create every alert I want to rename, just to introduce a new naming scheme for all our alerts?227211-alert-rule-name.png

Not supported by today. You have to recreate the alert rules with the right names
