I have moved my computer object from OU A to OU B. I see a all obsolete events of GPO which were applied at OU A. However, when I do gpresult /h, I do not see those GPO are applied. Question is if GPOs are not applying, then why so many events are coming . Few events error are as below.

The user 'Launch GM-TcNX' preference item in the 'Client-User-GPO-G-Testing {62F941B0-CCB1-4D9C-B37F-548037465CCC}' Group Policy Object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070002 The system cannot find the file specified.' This error was suppressed

Sorry for delay reply. First of all I hate with this new site. I do not know why MS moved QnA on this portal .

After verification, I found that local IT had moved computers from one ou to other OU but still event viewers had many events for old GPO. But GPO were not applying so I think events are ok because it was not creating any problem. So I left it at local IT to find out some local repository which probably had stored some cache of GPO, may be somewhere in registry.
