Are you using Windows 10 IoT Core or Windows 10 Enterprise? What type of application did you create: UWP, .NET, .NET Framework?

If you are using Windows IoT Core, only UWP GUI applications can be set up to launch on start. .NET Framework and Win32 Form application are not supported.

If you are using Windows 10 Enterprise, you can use Shell Launcher to launch the application on startup.
