Unable to upload a self signed root certificate to Device Provisioning Service

I am unable to upload a self signed root certificate to my Device Provisioning Service. The .pem file is getting uploaded but soon runs into as error as :

Request body validation failed. If you contact a support representative please include this correlation identifier: 554ffc49-6e9d-4450-95a5-e35d10f135de, timestamp: 2020-09-15 06:10:04Z, errorcode: IH400059.
