layout/format changes in PowerPoint with different users

I have an ongoing issue with a particular template within PPT. When I view the file, the format is fine, but when my client opens the file, there are random line breaks in slide titles etc.

The font is Museo Sans

The other user has the font installed, so it's not a font issue. The size of the font isn't changed. The embed font box is checked in the settings.

The same thing happens regardless of whether the file is saved as .ppt or .pptx

The user is using the same version of PPT as me (365), but is in a different company. I'm guessing the settings are different somewhere, but no idea what those settings could be.

Any ideas?

It's a font problem. PowerPoint will display the expected font, even if it is not installed. This misleads many into believing the font is available. Meanwhile, PowerPoint silently substitutes another font and the appearance changes.

To tell which computer is missing the font, create a new blank presentation and try to find the same font in the font menu. On the computer missing the font, the font will not be in the font menu.

Not all fonts are embeddable. So the check box beside the Embed option doesn't really tell you much. Try saving the same deck with fonts embedded and without. You should notice a substantial difference in file size, especially if you are embedded all characters.

    Hi @UKUser465739gh ,
Did you use the same language for Office?
Did this problem only appear in PowerPoint? How about other Office programs?
I suggest you go to File- Options- Language, make sure the language are the same for all users:

Then open Control Panel- Region- I suggest you check if you're using the same Format, Location and Language:
