Asked me to tab on "keep it active", otherwise my account will be closed and I will loose all settings.

That would be a phishing scam. Microsoft does not send out notices like that. In case, there is any doubt, sign into your account normally via https://outlook.live.com/owa/
DO NOT click on any link in the email message.
