Hi, I have an install that is not working, but it is hanging on the install for a very long time. Is there a way to kill it? I don't see it in task manager. Thank you.

So I ran into this issue and I did the following:

    • Tried stopping SMS Agent Host = No luck
    • Looked into the execmgr.log to locate the content in ccmcache and then tried deleting the content but it didn't allow me to delete the content. I then deleted the files within the ccmcache subfolder = successfully removed the content.
    • Next, removed my device from the collection that had the application deployed and then refreshed the Machine policy & Application Policy on the client machine = Success!!

It is NOT SW center that has hung, it is Install that you are running. End task the Install and SW center will see it. Or wait 12 hours (default setting)

In services.msc restar SMS Agent Host. it should work without reboot your system.
