Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

We have a user that was given access to a Microsoft guest account and we are unable to detach it from his account.

We've tried removing it in Teams and also went into their profile in Office.com and see a "leave" but when we try we get a generic error that "Something went wrong".

The user doesn't remember which client shared the account with him but we have read some articles that they need to remove it from their end to have it detach. Is there a way to force remove it?

    Hi @IBN

If you want to remove the guest from the team, you could go to manage team - members - click the X on the right side of the user in Teams client.

If the guest should be removed totally from your directory ( not visible to add to other teams or anything) you need to go into Azure Active Directory and remove the guest account. For more details, you could refer to DilloonJS's provided link.
