I am trying to upgrade a old windows program ( oracle sql developer ) , as you can see in jpg , when clicking checking update , it asks to setup the http proxy , I am wonder that this server is no need to connect internet via proxy , it can access internet via http directly .
We have firewall but no proxy is required , why it pops the error , how to fix it so that it can run the update ? thanks

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to Oracle server upgrade.
From the screen shot it looks it is not able to connect to Internet for the upgrade and hence it ask if you have any alternative proxy server to connect to Internet.
