Azure VMware Solution during maintenace period (ESXi patching)

Question

If during AVS (ESXi patching) maintenace period Microsoft adding additional node to cluster ? to migrate workload ? or customer should be thinking about additional ESXi during designing AVS infrastructire ?

You are correct. As a customer, you do not need to plan/worry on provisioning additional ESXi during the AVS infrastructure designing. Microsoft will be handling all the maintenance during the maintenance window/period.
