We purchased Windows Server 2022 Datacenter - 16 Core , 8 licenses .

We are Upgrading all our VM’s on our ESXi servers to Windows 2022 and we have done 22 of them so far. When we try to activate our 23rd, we get this error:

When checked this link , it says we can have :

Yes; unlimited virtual machines, plus one Hyper-V host per license

We are looking for a solution that can allow us to apply our license to lets say over 100 servers .

We are looking for a solution that can allow us to apply our license to lets say over 100 servers .

The simplest solution is to install DataCenter on host, then make use of AVMA licensing. Another advantage is being able to activate 2012 R2 to 2022 guests.

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to Windows activation.

I believe Datacenter gives unlimited hosting of VMs but not activation of VMs.

You can use AVMA keys to activate your Windows VM as mentioned in below link.
