Hi,

We are developing web application. We would like to have SharePoint capabilities (Auto sync) inside of our applications. Can you please let me know if it is possible to integrate autosync feature in our web application.

Regards,
Arun

    Hi @Arun Renukuntla ,
You could use the following url as a workaround:

     ms-word:ofe|u|https://xxx.sharepoint.com/sites/xxx/xxx/xx.docx

Per my test, you could open this word document in local desktop word application directly when you use IE. But you will get "A website wants to open this application." prompte when you open this url with chrome or edge.

Dear @RaytheonXie_MSFT , like when we open a MS word document from SharePoint using open app option, it will open the document on desktop and it is always connected to sharepoint. Whatever the update we make in the MS wrd document that will be reflecting in the word copy in sharepoint. We need same capability in our application. Wehn user open MS word document from the our web application, it should open the document in desktop MS word application and whatever updated user make it should reflect in latest version of word copy of web application.

Please let me know if you have any question.

    Arun
