Hello,

there is a small emailserver (not a ms-exchange) located in the company serverrom. (it is called tobit davd3.de)
It has a Active Sync Interface at his webserver for wireless smartphone connection.

Is it possible to connect MS Outlook 2013/2016 via Active Sync to it?
But without offering the active sync via ssl/https.
You know, it is possible to "use a exchange "eas" account at a iPhone" with disabled SSL - so I would like to know if it is also possible with outlook.
I am asking because the connection is only internal and I would like to avoid using a ssl certificate.

thx+best regards

    Hi @Matrix-Matrix-Matrix

    Welcome to our forum!

According to my search, it’s not feasible to configure it onto the Outlook client without SSL or TLS encryption, and Outlook doesn't support connections to Exchange by using ActiveSync.
For more information, see this official document: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/troubleshoot/profiles-and-accounts/outlook-cannot-use-activesync-connect-exchange
