Google Chrome Extension: Windows 10 Accounts - does it work?

"The Chrome extension is not supported on your version of Windows. You must be on Windows 10 version 1703 or above."

I am definitely running the following version: Windows 10, version 21H2

Why this problem appears and if there is a way to solve it ?

To clarify this issue, please tell us what you do will show this error message. I have noticed that you added "conditional-access" tag. If possible, please show the screen shots of the settings in this conditional access policy.

@Lu Dai-MSFT Hi. A policy has been created in conditional access to check the device for compliance when connecting to all cloud applications. When connecting via Microsoft Edge there is no problem, but via Chrome it asks you to install an extension. After installing the extension, the problem comes out. (Device is compliant)

I have noticed that it works well via Microsoft Edge. It means that this conditional access policy is deployed successfully.

I've noticed that I have to go through the process of Micro$oft telling me I need to use Edge or Internet Explorer multiple times despite having the extension installed. Typically after three or four times, it will let me in. But yesterday, and I kid you not, 17 times to get into a SAAS with Azure SSO set up. We don't have the option of using Edge because we use Chrome Enterprise. Microsoft doesn't have a comparable product.

Because we have had such a terrible experience with Microsoft Azure SSO, we are migrating to a best in class product SSO SAAS. Honestly I feel like for Microsoft it's more about pushing Edge than anything else. Get over it, and just let us do our jobs. Focus on making a better operating system or something.
