Are adaptive cards embedded in an .ICS file supported?

We are trying to include Adaptive Cards in Outlook calendar event, We using the .ics file to create calendar events and we are adding the adaptive card markup in the .ics file X-ALT-DESC field but the adaptive card is not displayed when we open Outlook calendar event.

Are adaptive cards embedded in an .ICS file supported? Or should we use the Outlook Graph API to create calendar events with Adaptive cards?
