For some reason that I can't explain, visual studio 2022 enterprise edition is telling me to download a full version of visual studio

You can try to install the component “Azure Data Lake and Stream Analytics Tools”, if it exists, you can uninstall and reinstall it.
If it doesn’t work, I suggest you directly vote that ticket and add your comments there to track the process, then we need to waiting for a response from the product team engineers. If there is any update, I will also add it here.
