How to join VM to other VM which is already domain controller

Question

I have azure VM Created with name VMone, VMOne which configured as domain controller, while configuring for example I have chosen domain xyz.com as forest root domain. so this VMone machine is now domain controller with domain name xyz.com

I created a one more VM with Name VMtwo, so I want to join this VM (VMtwo) to VMone, what option I should choose to make this to join to VMone Domain, How it can be achieved. Please help me.

If so the solution/answer is: You need to configure DNS properly for all vNets/Subnets and VMs.
This way the VM2 is able to resolve the name of a domain controller of the AD.
The error message in your screenshots confirms this as well.
In the other thread the solution for a proper setup of the DNS is described.

Hi @sns

On VMtwo, set the IP DNS configuration to point to the IP address of VMone
On VMtwo, using the system Properties dialog, join it to xyz.com domain
