hyper V replication over VPN is slow need to multithread

My hyper v replication works great over IPsec VPN but it runs slow.
VPN tunnel speed tested up to 470Mbps, while hyper-v replication speed is
as follows depending on how many servers are replication at the exact same time back to the replica server

40 Mbs for one server or
80 Mbs for two servers
110 Mbs for three servers

I would like to see the replication fill up the VPN tunnel or at least use a lot more than 10% of the VPN tunnel when replication happens.
my best guess is that there needs to be some type of multi-thread or min speed setting that I can add via registry... but I have no idea what that is.

I look forward to your creative answers.

    Hi Wf,

The speed of Hyper-V Replica is fixed and cannot be changed, so it can only be a problem with network bandwidth.
    My advice is as follows:

    1. The speed of the VPN is limited by the network bandwidth.
    2. Check whether the NIC to which the virtual machine is connected is the NIC connected to the VPN.
    3. VPN speed will be affected by hardware and software devices, using an Ethernet connection VPN to get faster speeds than WIFI.
      Hope my answer helps you!

    Best Regards,
    Xu Gu
