Hi,

Needed a device for tropical aquarium fish, that detects the water temperature in the breeding pond and automatically switches on the heating unit once the temperature falls below the needed temperature for the normal growth of tropical fish.

Hello @Oliver Thomas ,

welcome to this community forum about Microsoft (Azure) technology.

Azure supports IoT also and lots of forum members build great solutions with Azure IoT.

I recommend checking out Azure IoT Central as an easy first step towards an IoT Dashboard.

Free learning material is found here.

Regarding the sensor, a friend of mine has written a whole series of blogs about controlling his aquarium tank.

This will give you a good starting point, at least on the hardware part.
