SSMS Repair/Uninstall - Hard Drive Crash

I recently installed SQL Server and SSMS onto my computer for personal use in a SQL course. However, after the installation my old hard drive crashed and was completely unable to be accessed by my operating system. I'm trying to uninstall/repair SSMS and reinstall it on my newly installed SSD, but keep receiving the error message "Integration Services: Invalid Drive: D:\" when I attempt to use my Control Panel functionality. Any idea how I can get this issue sorted out so I can start using SSMS again? Thanks!

Your topic is about SSMS - which is SQL Server Management Studio - and it is a complete standalone software.

There won't be any connection - other than you have opened it and trying to connect - to any Integration Services.

So that message must come from a SQL Server installation that you also had performed, and it looks like the service configuration is looking at the D drive for all relevant data/files.

You should have a software/tool installed with SQL Server installation, which is called "SQL Server Configuration Manager," here you should find the Integration service; please check the properties of that service if you can change any relevant item... if not possible and the error persist then you might uninstall SQL Server completely or just the Integration services...

    Hi @Andrew Poisson ,

When did you get this error message? Using SSMS connect to SSIS(SQL Server Integration Services)? Or open the SSMS? Could you share us a screenshot about your issue to make us better understand your issue. According to your error message, it seems your issue is not related to SSMS, it seems that it is related to SSIS.

Did you get any useful error message from SQL server error log? Did you get any error message during your SQL server installation? Did you try to repair or reinstall your SQL server? Which version of your SQL server and SSMS?
