Installing the latest CU-Update for Office Online Server

Question

I have installed the latest version of OOS 16.0.10338.20039 and now i would like to install the latest CU-Update for OOS shown here

my question is how should i exactly install this update on my two server farm? I found these instructions from MS

and it says to not use the automatic update process, but isn't this CU-Update a security update? So using the automatic process should not cause any problems, right?
Or should this Update be installed manually be follwing the steps in the link above?
