For WPF applications there are 2 project templates in VS2022:

WPF Application
WPF App (.NET Framework)

why are there 2 options and how do they differ and when should one chose one over the other? For example if one wants to build WPF apps with Entity Framework??

also, if one has used one template and want to change a project so it behaves like a project built with the other template, is this possible? What do you have to add/remove to accomplish this?
