Hello,

I have a colleague who reported this issue to us.

They have numerous users are reporting that they are getting "You don't have access to this file" while using the Teams Desktop application.

They are able to access in SharePoint and Teams Web Browser, but not the client.

They have cleared cache by closing Teams/Outlook and delete the content from %appdata%\Microsoft\teams but this is not working for all users.

    Hi @IniobongNkanga-8038

If there is no issue in Teams web client, it means these user have the permission to access files in Teams client. In this case, we firstly recommends this user to run the self-diagnostics tool to verify possible issues with accessing files shared in Teams chat.
