Azure B2C Totp custom policy

Azure AD B2C custom policy TOTP implementation fails for users with email claim as null value.
It generates an internal server error on self-asserted step.

Please let me know if there is any way to resolve this issue.

Would you be able to use the exceptions query as described here to see if you receive a more detailed error message? Would you be able to share the policy and technical profile?
