Did the subscription ever work?
This error is almost always caused by something on the subscriber happened which removed the subscription, a restore or something.
The best thing to do is try to reinit the subscription and rerun the snapshot agent. If that doesn't work. you will need to remove the subscription and recreate it on the publisher/subscriber.

Yes, the steps suggested has fixed the issue. Now replication is working fine.
