To whom it may concern:

I need to delete my old O365 developer instance. According to my login, it was supposed to be permanently deleted on Aug 12, 2022. Since that is not working for me, I tried to create a new O365 developer account via my work O365 credentials, but I was greeted with the following error.

We're unable to send the code to that number. Please provide a valid cell phone number and try again. MS-CorrelationId: 99574f34-f51e-4819-8cab-3c84468f53d6

Is there any way to delete my old tenant?

    Hi @Ludvik Jerabek ,

I recommend creating a ticket with the subscription/billing team to get this resolved. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

If you're getting blocked because of the cell phone number and you have provided a valid number, you may receive that error message if you are not including the country code in the number.

If you have verification options, you can try again by selecting a different option. If your account is fully blocked, you may need to have a global admin let you back in or reach out to the Azure Data Protection team to get access again if there is no other global admin.

    Hope this helps.
