Why kill Org Explorer from Outlook?

Per the Microsoft KB on Org Explorer, it will no longer be available in Outlook as of August 2022. Curious why and what is the alternative? SharePoint Org Explorer is hard to navigate, and this was finally an answer to the gaps with the SharePoint option. Can we get some information as to why it's being removed from Outlook and where will be see those feature reappear in the O365 product scheme?

According to my search, there is currently no alternative.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
I’ve tried submitted this feature request in forum. What I can do for you at present is to submit a suggestion for you, and you can also make a suggestion via this link.

Also, questions about org, if there are any updates, I will come back to inform you.
