Hello,

We're using SP2019 with an add-on tool Plumsail form designer, and we're exploring any way when we export CSV format \ attachment .xls for those images\pictures, can we export to excel format with all embedded pictures in the single excel file? (Not just url with SharePoint path)

This requirement is kind of user's experiences and user-friendly desired, when they open the excel, they will get all the list data and pictures extracted in the excel file.

Thx,
Patrick

    Hi @Yeung, Patrick CP ,

The image store in a list, but Hyperlink or Picture column doesn’t store the image objects itself, so you are not able to export it to a excel document easily. You may need to insert the images from the SharePoint Picture libraries manually. You might be able to do something on Microsoft excel, here is the reference: How to Embed or unlink image while exporting Sharepoint List Data to MS word 2007/2010?

Since the article is relatively old, you may consult the office team for specific functions related to the current version of Microsoft Office. Or go to the support platform of the three-party tool forum you mentioned to inquire whether there are solutions to related problems. Thank you for your understanding!
