can we create a rule in user/group assignments in enterprise app based on prefix or formulae to automatically add groups/user to an Azure application

We have this same need. We want to dynamically add groups with a certain name prefix to the list of groups allowed for an enterprise app. Right now we are using a custom script process tied to a service principal to do this, but would love a native way to do this.

Hi,

Yes it is possible and you can assign users or groups in the application, however you will need to create dynamic groups with sort of your requirements based on the filters and expressions.

Note you will require Azure AD P1 Licenses for this.

I do not see how the linked article explains how to automatically assign newly created groups to the Enterprise App. As far as I see it only tells how to add users to newly created groups.
