Windows 11 supports networking protocol supported in the Windows 10.
It will support 443 too.
If you are observing such a behavior, most likely it is due to the configuration.
Does the broandband connect support DNS over https in the windows 11?
Hello:
I suddenly found that the svchost.exe only had 53 udp outbound to the dns while the other such as system service could use 443 tcp outbound to the DNS after setting the doh in the modern setting app layout in the LAN section. And it seems to be that there is even no Broadband connect, dialup sections for setting DNS in the modern setting app.
Tried some old suggestion from the internet for manually add Doh, after adding the "autoupgrade=yes" to set the DoH, the svchost.exe using the 443 outbound to the now.
But if there were other way which could be set on the setting app or group policy?
Thanks
PS.
"netsh dns add global doh=auto ddr=yes seem" also helps, but the "netsh dns add encryption server * autoupgrade=yes udpfallback=no" seem does the major work.
