system.exe process takes high cpu.

hi folks,
Posting this again as i didnt get any response to my previous post. One of our sql server DB server. i see System.exe process takes high cpu , around 15-20% at times. I ran windows performance analyzer and it gives me output as shown in the screenshot. Anyone tell me what might be the cause?232097-230892-system.jpg

    Hello Heisenberg,

    As I am sure you must realize, without symbolic resolution of addresses the call stack does not deliver much useful information.

    What does stand out is the third party driver NLEMSYS.SYS (from NetLib) quite high in the stack - that driver may well be the cause of your issue.

    hello,
    Thank you for your response. Im a SQL DBA and i have no idea what this process is. our system admin says its normal for system.exe to take high cpu which i dont agree with.
    Any idea what software might be running NLEMSYS.SYS
