Is it possible to submit a spark job from Azure function written in python?

Hi,

Is it possible to submit a python code/job to Azure synapse spark pool from an Azure function? It seems one can use livy rest apis. However, there are limited reference material on my use case. It will be helpful if you can share some insights or reference materials.
