Organisation's wifi not connecting automatically.

Question

On all Windows 10 Enterprise x64 users we receive a certificate message when we connect to our WPA2 Enterprise WLAN. After we click "Connect", the connection is established and ok but the following message appears at every reconnect. The message text is: "Continue connecting? If you expect to find [SSID-Name] in this Location, go ahead and connect. Otherwise, it may be a different Network with the same Name"

Auto connect is not possible anymore because of this message interruption.

We use a self signed cert for WLAN encryption which is installed on all users devices.

We run a domain network with client/user authentication

Hello there,

Please try these steps:

1. In taskbar, right-click the wifi icon > select Open Network and Internet Settings
2. Select Change Adapter options
3. Select your Wifi network and select Properties
4. Click the Configure button for the wireless adapter.
5. Click Change Settings button
6. Go to Power Management tab
7. Uncheck the setting "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
8. Click OK.
9. Restart your PC
10. Please check if your wifi now connects automatically.
