Hi Support,
We are using exchange 2016 with latest patch level.
When user reply or forward email with attachment in IOS mail app, the app will crash. However, all others app such as IOS Outlook, Android mail app and Android Outlook don't have this problem.
Tested in different IOS version and iPhone model, all of them have this issue.
Seems is our exchange server issue, as we tried to connected other company exchange server, everything is fine.
Any idea?
Thanks

Hello, is there any progress in your question?
Hi @Jame Xu-MSFT ,
Sorry for late.
Yes. It crashes when replying to or forwarding emails with attachment, normal forward email and other things work fine.
I tried the test connectivity on the activesync and the result is fine.
Best Regards

Hi @Chong ,
Can you send emails with attachments normally? Will emails reply or forward crash no matter how big the attachments are? Is it related to the attachment type, such as Excel, Word or ppt?
You can check your mobile device mailbox policy to see if there is a policy that prevents IOS from replying to emails with attachments:
Get-MobileDeviceMailboxPolicy

Hi @Jame Xu-MSFT ,
A new email with attachment is normal. It only will crash when user reply or forward email, no matter how big of the attachment or file type.
We didn't configure the mobile device policy, so it should be by default. May I know which parameters I can check?
Thanks
Best Regards

Hi @Chong ,
Since your other Exchange processes are running normally, ActiveSync test works fine, and there should be no problems with the Exchange side, but exchange from other companies is available, are they also Exchange2016?
You could use the cmdlet to see the policy, You could show it to me so that I could help you analyze the problem while taking care to protect your personal privacy.

Hi @Chong ,
Could you ask the administrator of other company if they have policies for exchange? There is no problem with the default policy in your attachment. Have you ever tried creating a new user and connecting to the IOS mail app?
