We have a problem with Teams recording missing.

How we get the missing recording back

According to your description, I have the following questions to confirm with you：

1. Does anyone else have the same problem in your organization?
2. Did you do any operations before this issue occurred?
3. Have your recording expired? When the recording expires, its owner will receive an email. If they decide to retrieve it from the recycle bin, they’ll have 90 days to do so. So the best way would be to connect with the person and restore it.

Teams meeting recordings are moving from Stream to SharePoint and OneDrive. Change is currently rolling-out if your organization hasn't explicitly set Stream as recording storage on Teams meeting policies.
If this change is already rolled-out to your organization's tenant, there is three places to look for.

1. If it is a Teams channel meeting, the recording is stored on Recordings folder on channel's files.
2. In other cases, the recording is stored in Recordings folder on your OneDrive, you have started the recording.
3. If the user doesn't have OneDrive for Business or SharePoint. The recording will land in our temporary storage location where it will be held for 21 days. During that time, the organizer must download the recording. If not downloaded within 21 days, the recording is deleted.
