My client would like to set up BitLocker with PIN and wants BitLocker Network Unlock to be used as well. Currently, there are 50+ branch locations that have a Distribution Point on site built on Server 2012 R2. The DP's are set up to use the SCCM PXE boot - not WDS. Will they be able to have the Network Unlock feature enable don these servers?

    Hi,

Thank you for coming Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

I'm afraid that we are unable to have the Network Unlock feature in SCCM PXE responder with WDS. Because a server running the Windows Deployment Services (WDS) role is one of the core requirements. For more detailed information about how to enable Bitlocker Network Unlock, please refer to:

Here is a uservoice for the SCCM PXE responder with WDS scenario:

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon
