Client wants remote desktop connection to restart to login screen on logout

Client wants to enable hotdesking by having the remote desktop automatically restart to the login screen for the next user to be able to login. Anyone got any ideas?

    I remember the school I used to work at had a system similar where when a user logged out the system would automatically reconnect to the login page of the remote desktop.

    I think they used Windows Server Multiserver or something similar.

    want to have the system automatically reconnect to a new logon screen (where the user enters username and password) on the remote desktop every time someone disconnects or logs out

    You can setup the session timeout for this.

    Yes, in the days of 2003 (and older) we used to be able to connect to session 0 (console session) via remote.
    mstsc -v: servername /F -console
