ADF Load Data From SAP Table connect Error

2022-08-19T03:50:16.367+00:00

I try to use SAP table connect to load data from SAP, the ADF is relying on this error:

CreateFunction GetFunction/BODS/RFC_READ_TABLE2 with Repository encountered RfcBaseException.
metadata for function /BODS/RFC_READ_TABLE2 not available: FU_NOT_FOUND2

Is there any way to solve this problem?

Hi @Luo Zheng / 罗政 (财务部 IT科) ,

Welcome to Micrsoft Q&A platform and thanks for posting your question.

I understand that while copying the data from SAP table using ADF pipeline you are getting the following error:
"CreateFunction GetFunction/BODS/RFC_READ_TABLE2 with Repository encountered RfcBaseException.
metadata for function /BODS/RFC_READ_TABLE2 not available: FU_NOT_FOUND2"

Please let me know if my understanding is incorrect.

This might happen because current SAP ECC don’t have OData library. Kindly check the SAP ECC version.

Specifically, this SAP table connector supports copying data from an SAP table in:

    • SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) version 7.01 or later (in a recent SAP Support Package Stack released after 2015).
    • SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW) version 7.01 or later (in a recent SAP Support Package Stack released after 2015).
    • SAP S/4HANA.
    • Other products in SAP Business Suite version 7.01 or later (in a recent SAP Support Package Stack released after 2015).
