Hi @mc ,
From your description, I understand that you would like to use ActiveX controls(OCX files) in the Edge browser.
I would like to inform you that the MS Edge browser does not supports the ActiveX controls. so you will not be able to use it directly with the Edge browser.
However, the Edge browser has a feature called IE mode. The IE mode supports the ActiveX controls.
So you could try to configure the IE mode manually or using the group policy and visit the site using the IE mode in the Edge browser can help you use ActiveX.
To manually configure the IE mode, you could go to edge://settings/defaultBrowser in the Edge browser and Add the page to the Internet Explorer mode pages.
Below document could help you configuring the IE mode using the group policy.
Please do let me know if you have further questions.
